Gov Bello charges cabinet members on tolerance, good conducts

The Kogi State Governor Alhaji Yahaya Bello has charged his cabinet members to “imbibe the culture of tolerance” and be of good conducts in order to endear his government to the people.
The Governor said the people could only be supportive of his government if they are given freedom and tolerance by the members of his cabinet and his entire political appointees.
Speaking during a meeting with his appointees on Sunday, 11th March, said the meeting was to charge all appointees on how best to conduct themselves and their lieutenants in order to have the people’s support.
His words: “I plead that you all open your doors for every other person out there who is willing to come in and work for a better Kogi State, and that we should imbibe the culture of tolerating one another and expand our developmental horizons.
“That we should avoid being stingy and be kind to our people at the grassroots by extending the dividends of the administration to them.
“That we should desist from turning ourselves into an attacking dogs on social media instead of broadcasting or showcasing our achievements.
“That we should desist from the attitude of claiming to be very important, and to the extent that we no longer pick our calls or relate with people we are meant to serve.
